sysctl

A kernel parameter, set now and kept across reboots in /etc/sysctl.d.

step "example" {
sysctl {
name = "..."
value = "..."
}
}
Name Type Required Description
name string Yes Key, such as net.ipv4.ip_forward.
on_remove string No “forget” (default) leaves the setting, “delete” removes its file; the running value stays until reboot.
value string Yes Value. Separate several with spaces.

Conn3x sets these; reference them as conn3x_sysctl.<circuit>__<step>["<host>"].<name>.

Name Type Description
in_sync bool Whether the file and the running kernel both have the value.

A step lowers to the conn3x_sysctl resource, one instance per host, and connects with its circuit’s ssh block.
