hostname

The host’s name, set now and across reboots. On cloud images, cloud-init may reset it at boot unless preserve_hostname is true.

Arguments

name	string	Yes	Hostname, such as web1 or web1.example.com.

Read-only attributes

Conn3x sets these; reference them as conn3x_hostname.<circuit>__<step>["<host>"].<name>.

Name	Type	Description
in_sync	bool	Whether the host has this setting.

A step lowers to the conn3x_hostname resource, one instance per host, and connects with its circuit’s ssh block.
