A file downloaded on the host and kept only if its SHA-256 matches.

Arguments

dest	string	Yes	Absolute path to save it to.
group	string	No	Group.
mode	string	No	Octal permissions. Defaults to “0644”.
on_remove	string	No	“forget” (default) leaves the file, “delete” removes it.
owner	string	No	Owner.
sha256	string	Yes	Expected SHA-256, in lowercase hex.
url	string	Yes	http or https URL.

Read-only attributes

Conn3x sets these; reference them as conn3x_download.<circuit>__<step>["<host>"].<name>.

Name	Type	Description
in_sync	bool	Whether the file is there with the right checksum.

A step lowers to the conn3x_download resource, one instance per host, and connects with its circuit’s ssh block.
